The "ecole d'auteuil" was a group of impressionist ceramists producing in the area of Auteuil, in the 16th Arrondissement, just outside of Paris at the end of the 19th century. The TLF monogram is attributed to Theodore Le Front. Auteuil has a history of artistic affiliations, most notably as the one-time home of Victor Hugo and Molière, and the birthplace of Marcel Proust.
