18th Century Louis XVI Period Neoclassical French Antique Trumeau

This Louis XVI Period Trumeau has beautiful plaster plaques depicting two classically dressed women embracing adjacent to a column, on which is inscribed "A Amitie" (to Friendship). On the left side, a plaque depicts a man leaning on a column and globe, the symbols for architecture and geography. On the right, a woman, representing Liberty, looks on while leaning on a column adorned with a laurel leaf crown. Four rosettes made up of oak leaves and acorns represent knowledge.
